Todd Roberts

Roberts is known for his pivotal role in breaking of various music artist careers in America. He is currently the Senior Vice President of A&R at MNRK Music Group. There he played a pivotal role in the company’s publishing division, as well as the development of a producer & songwriter division, collaborating with notable songwriters and artists working projects alongside UK hit maker Fred Again.., US Top 20 chart maker charlieonnafriday, and the biggest US Dance Radio hit of 2022, Kaskade and Deadmau5’s KX5. His career began as an A&R intern at Capitol Records and then as Editor of Urb magazine, the seminal LA publication covering the early hip-hop and electronic music scene. Simultaneously, he cut his A&R teeth working on record compilations and soundtracks, eventually landing a gig as VP of A&R at Virgin. He was then tapped to head to NY to become Head of A&R for Astralwerks, a division of Virgin/EMI, where he worked with groundbreaking artists like Fatboy Slim, Phoenix, and Basement Jaxx. He then headed back to LA to build on his artist development skills, both managing artists flowing through LA burgeoning Low End Theory scene, as well as making records for Verve/Impulse Records, as Executive Producer of the Grammy nominated Verve Remixed series, overseeing remixes from artists like Diplo, Danger Mouse and Postal Service. He also held executive roles at C3 Management and Windish Agency (now Wasserman). At MNRK, along with leading publishing division, providing opportunities for emerging writers and producers, Roberts has also led A&R for the West Coast, making records across the company’s various labels. There, Todd signed songwriter Delilah Montagu to a solo record deal, as well as artists like Gangs of Kin, Paul Maxwell, and Indian artist Bliss Samsa.
