Bryan Stevenson’s strategy to affect social change and enroll people in criminal justice reform is by getting proximate to those experiencing injustice, changing the narrative, doing uncomfortable things, and maintaining hope.

At Give a Beat we believe that through bringing music and education programs to communities affected by incarceration, they will experience a healing transformation and build skill sets for creative career opportunities. By engaging our music industry network through awareness building, public education, and offering mentoring opportunities; greater transformation can occur to contribute to the movement to reduce recidivism, transform the criminal justice system, and ultimately end mass incarceration.
