Lara (Studio Lyko) is an explorer of bias in design through inclusive and trauma-informed visual storytelling.

Lara oversees the Give a Beat website and brand identity. As an involved supporter of Give a Beat since 2017, Lara holds a deep understanding of the organization’s growth and purpose. She works to ensure that the stories shared by Give a Beat are accurately and meaningfully represented through thoughtful design.

Lara primarily works with nonprofits and businesses that address systemic inequity and racism. She designs with a continuing understanding of her own inherent bias and through an empathetic and humanistic lens.
