Angela is a Mentor for the “On a New Track” Reentry Mentoring Program (OANT) and a teaching artist for the Prison Electronic Music Program (PEMP) and Youth Music Program.

A Los Angeles based DJ and Producer who goes by the musical alias of Spiñorita, she has made it her mission to unite people on the dance floor for over 12 years.  A Chicana born-and-raised on the dance floor of her parent’s backyard in the San Gabriel Valley, Angela started her DJ career at a best friend’s new years party; she has since become an LA nightlife staple and moved onto the global stage. Spiñorita’s multi-genre and generational love of music goes beyond the booth and can be felt whenever you cross her path.  Angela has been a Teaching Artist with Give a Beat since 2021.
