Virginia Cheung is the Chief Advancement Officer at Open Door Legal, where she leads efforts to expand access to civil legal services and advance a model of universal legal aid. She has over 15 years of nonprofit development experience, specializing in building fundraising strategy, strengthening infrastructure, and scaling revenue to support mission-driven growth.

Previously, Virginia served as Director of Advancement at Wu Yee Children’s Services, where she helped drive significant organizational growth while advancing programs supporting immigrant families, women, and children. Her earlier work includes fundraising and development roles with Chinese American International School, Artspan, and the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco.
