Shaine is a teaching artist in the Youth Music Program

Shaine aka bb Shaine is a producer and DJ based in Los Angeles, CA. As a co-head of the collective/label GRN+GLD since 2017, she has spearheaded their live events as curator and resident DJ. GRN+GLD is a long-time purveyor of the underground electronic scene in Southern California, with genre-bending music rooted in west coast hip-hop and all things dance. Having the opportunity to share her experience and knowledge as a Teaching Artist at “Give a Beat”, has become an integral part of her music journey thus far. She has been teaching electronic music production and DJing in Give a Beat’s youth programs since early 2022.
