Rev. Dr. Dortheá Enriqúe

Rev. Dr. Dortheá Enriqúe is an ordained interfaith minister, spiritual counselor, holistic therapist, journalist, and published author/poet.
She is also the CEO and Founding Principal of Modern Soulful Living Academy, an interfaith nonprofit whose mission is to educate and empower others to increase their leadership capabilities while focusing on their mental health, spirituality and personal development through arts and culture.
In addition to her position at Give a Beat, she is a journalist with Sierra Magazine, interfaith columnist with Patheos, and a Contributing Author for Mom’s Clean Air Force and Mom’s Rising. She is the founder of Modern Soulful Music Awards, a conscious indie music journal and also a contributing guest writer with Fierce Truth Spiritual Magazine.
As a 2022 Award Winner for the Resilience in Climate Equity (RICE) Award, she has been recognized for her hard work and dedication towards organizing and journalism for women’s empowerment, maternal justice, racial equity, climate change and social justice. As a 2023 Poet/Artist Fellow with DSTL Arts, she serves as a Teaching Artist and has been published in their “2023-2024 Creative Impact Anthology.”
In each capacity, she aims to be the change she wishes to see in a healthier, cleaner, and more just society for generations to come. She is a Detroit native who now resides in West Los Angeles with her two beautiful daughters.
