Give a Beat Records Artists Take the Stage: 2023 Youth Development Summit

Give a Beat Records label artists, geriFree and Pelligroso, were invited to take the stage at the 2023 Youth Development Summit. Hosted by the Los Angeles County Department of Youth Development, it provided an opportunity to come together, amplify the voices of young people, and establish a shared vision for youth development and justice. We were thrilled to be a part of this initiative and to have  our label artists take the stage. 

Geri shared, “Being geriFree was crucial in expressing my love for dance, positive energy, and inclusivity through my song choices in my set.” It was evident her presence made a difference as she noted, “It was incredible to witness the women from the Young Women’s Freedom Center join me on stage, dancing to the beat of their own freedom.”
