DJ Icy Ice’s Guest Artist Visit to the Prison Electronic Music Program

In a noteworthy development for our Prison Electronic Music Program, we were honored to have DJ Icy Ice from the Beat Junkies join us as a Guest Artist, advancing our Theory of Change  commitment to forming proximity between the music industry and those we serve. DJ Icy Ice's visit to the California Rehabilitation Center left an indelible mark as he shared his passion for DJing and music with the incarcerated population. During the visit, he performed a captivating demo, engaging participants in discussions about his successful DJ career. Witnessing the joy on the faces of individuals as they mixed their favorite songs and hearing their stories about the profound impact of music on their lives was truly inspiring. DJ Icy Ice's visit was a resounding success, and we express our sincere gratitude for his contribution. Excitingly, we are thrilled to announce that we will be replicating this Guest Artist model in 2024, continuing to bring unique and enriching experiences to those we serve.
